Those of us that love Setters, be they Irish, English or Gordon, know that they tend to get their beautiful long ears in their food and water when they eat and drink. Using a snood at mealtimes helps keep their ears clean and the feathering long.

I got tired of "getting stuck" with snoods from the general vendors at the dog shows that were really made for Afghans or Bassets, they didn't exactly fit. So I began making them myself. I enjoy making snoods for my dogs that match their personality and also some of the seasons and holidays.

Setter Snoods make great gifts, too.
